I came into real estate on the numbers side—starting as a 1031 specialist focused on credit‑tenant, bond and net‑leased investments across the Western Five. From there I moved into institutional asset disposition, selling REO for banks and agencies and working with E & L visa investors through the Great Recession.
As the market reset, I shifted into acquiring and flipping homes in 2011 and then into multi‑unit investment, helping clients buy, reposition, and exchange 2–15+ unit buildings across the Bay Area. That hands‑on work with rents, expenses, and AB 1482 constraints gives me a practical view of what actually performs in the field—not just on a spreadsheet.
Most recently, I’ve added a fourth lane: municipal surplus land—helping public agencies and private developers transact on hard‑to‑access sites under California’s Surplus Land Act.
Today, as a Broker Associate with The Grubb Company, I use that full‑cycle experience—1031, REO, visa capital, flips, multi‑unit, and surplus land—to help investors source, underwrite, depreciate, and execute on Bay Area opportunities that most people never see.
